THIS is the place to go!! My old HVAC system was from the 1970's and I've been keeping it together with duct tape and prayer for years. I've had a over a dozen HVAC companies out to do quotes and let me know their deals. I learned exactly what needed to be fixed and how it would fail within a few years if I didn't replace certain lines. I realized quickly using the sketchy tech off fb might be the cheapest option but it would cost me more in the long run. The issue was cost. I just couldn't afford to drop thousands all at once but i didn't want to pay the interest fees for a loan either.

A friend recommended this company and they came in and told me exactly what needed to be done (I already knew but good to see they knew also) and the price was what I expected it should be. They have a 3 to 4 year interest free deal with Wells Fargo on their loans and it'll be fully paid off by the end of that interest free period. This is EXACTLY what I had been looking for! They were able to do all the work within a week of me calling too! I can't recommend this place enough!

Prompt service and communication!

We have two units that are older that needed maintenance/service. After reading reviews and asking around for suggested companies we landed on Shumate heating and air. I could not be more pleased with the prompt service and communication! Our service gentleman was Jimmy he went over and above to make sure to answer any questions we had regarding our units. He worked fast and efficiently explained what he did as well as offered suggestions to help improve efficiency of our units! Shumate Mechanical was established

Shumate Mechanical was established in 1978 by Harold Shumate. The company started in a 3,000 square foot office in Stone Mountain Georgia and has grown to install HVAC systems in homes and commercial buildings in the area.

Tennessee Expansion

Shumate expands in 2020, by opening a branch of HVAC, heating and air services in middle Tennessee, including Nashville and surrounding neighborhoods.
